    We are seeking a part-time Counselor to provide services via an internet-based, 3D virtual world. In Within PFHs virtual world counseling center - The Portal - the Counselor will facilitate group counseling and individual sessions with adolescent consumers diagnosed with substance abuse problems. Consumers can login from home or another remote location and will improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments as well gain additional knowledge and guidance to help in their recovery. Other counselor responsibilities include assisting consumers through the transition process and developing and monitoring treatment plans. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and current treatment trends and strong assessment and evaluations skills required.     An opening exists in our Kansas City office for a full-time maintenance worker. The hours required are from 8am – 5pm. The qualified candidate for this position must have general maintenance knowledge, including minor electrical, plumbing, painting and sheetrock repair. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and demonstrate flexibility. Have strong attention to detail and organization skills, and must be able to communicate effectively in both written and oral form. This candidate will also be required to travel to PFH sites in Lee’s Summit and Liberty for repairs as needed.

    Our Assistant Residential Coordinator will assist the Residential Coordinator in direct supervision of rehabilitation technicians and operational oversight for the department. Duties include group facilitation, direct client care, transportation, scheduling, and training of new hires. 24-hour on call availability is a must. Hours will be 3pm-11:30pm, on Saturday thru Wednesday. This person can alternate days and evenings on the weekend with the other ARC.     Responsible for clinical oversight and management of outpatient treatment for adult substance abuse and co-occurring treatment program.     Our Licensed or Certified Counselor provides skilled counseling services to consumers in behavioral health to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Knowledge in current treatment trends and strong assessment and evaluation skills required. Candidate must have a minimum one (1) year relevant experience. The position requires a current LPC.

  • THERAPIST
    Our Therapists responsibilities include facilitating group counseling, family conferences, and individual sessions with individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse problems to improve their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and working environments as well as provide clinical guidance. Other responsibilities include intake, screenings, and assessments, assisting consumers through the transition process and developing treatment plans. Additional duties include assisting in professional supervision and providing training on clinical issues and evidenced based practices. Experience in major depression, substance abuse, dual diagnosis and other mental illness is a preferred. Knowledge in current treatment trends and strong assessment and evaluation skills also required. Applicant must have a minimum of a master's degree and hold a current Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Social Worker credential in the state of Missouri.

  • REHABILITATION TECHNICIANS
    Our Rehabilitation Technicians assist in serving the needs of individuals with substance abuse diagnosis in both outpatient and inpatient environments by assisting the Clinical Team in assigned treatment procedures and providing feedback, preparing the treatment area(s), cleaning areas, providing ongoing monitoring and supervision of client population and providing orientation to clients served. Other responsibilities include facilitating educational and recreational groups and providing transportation. Part-time shifts are available for evenings, Monday though Friday. A high school diploma or GED is required. Experience in Human Service related fields is preferred.

    We are seeking a full-time AAPS Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in our Wichita, KS office. Bachelor's Degree, SASSI, ASI, KCPC and SB123 Certification are preferred. SB67 experience is a plus. This position is responsible for facilitating adult and adolescent group, and individual, substance abuse counseling sessions and conducting client assessments. This individual must be willing to work evenings and weekends. Salary and benefits are based on experience.

    We are seeking a full-time receptionist at our Wichita, KS office. This position is responsible for answering phones, filing, typing, and various office duties. Candidate must have good organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to pay close attention to detail and handle confidential information with discretion.
