    EXECUTIVE
  • VICE PRESIDENT OF SUBSTANCE ABUSE SERVICES
    We are seeking a Vice President of Substance Abuse Services to oversee our Texas operations with services being delivered in San Antonio, Austin, and vicinity. Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated leadership skills and experience developing and/or managing programs to include supervisory and fiscal oversight responsibilities. Educational requirement of Master's degree. Experience necessary in grant development and contract management. Ability to make connections with legislators, and other state and community leaders to assist in the development of new programming and to monitor the climate of behavioral health field. Must be able to network in the community and should have demonstrated skills in program development and implementation. Prefer experience in Substance Abuse Treatment environment, working with BHIPS, and knowledge of local drug courts and probation and parole. LPC, LMSW, LCDC are preferred.

  • APPLICATION PROGRAMMERS
    Working knowledge or experience with Microsoft .NET development tools and Client/Server application development. Must have good problem solving skills. Good documentation and communication skills (verbal and written) are a plus. Must be able to work effectively with users to assess and articulate requirements, develop and deliver solutions. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent with emphasis in software development required.

  • COMMUNITY RELATIONS DIRECTOR
    This person must be able to quickly develop a solid working knowledge of PFH projects, departments and programs, as well as the history and strategic plan for the future of the agency. Plans, organizes, implements, coordinates, and evaluates a variety of marketing and community relations outreach activities and programs for the organization. Develops marketing/community relations plans for each site and the overall agency and oversees the implementation of activities associated with these functions. This individual will be proficient with Microsoft Applications, including, but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This individual will also demonstrate proficiency with team dynamics. A Bachelor's or Master's level degree in business, management, or social service is desirable. Applicants may show work experience sufficient to substitute for formal education if applicable.

    A part-time position exists in our adult facility. Duties include individual, group therapy, and treatment planning. We prefer individuals with Bachelor's Degree and experience in substance abuse field.

  • SUBSTANCE ABUSE COUNSELOR-CRITICAL
    This is for our adult program. This position is flexible, four 10 hour days, Monday through Friday, and competitive wages. The Substance Abuse Counselor's requires a Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or closely related field with at least 2 years clinical experience post-master's degree. Experience working with clients with substance abuse and dependence, along with experience with group therapy is also required. Must be a LPC or LCSW. This position qualifies for a $1000.00 sign on bonus.

    Full-time opening for a Master's trained individual who is looking for a diverse opportunity to work with the chronically mentally ill and individuals with a substance abuse diagnosis in an outpatient environment.     A full-time person is needed to do filing, typing, and various office duties. This position requires good organizational skills, flexibility, and attention to detail. Good computer skills is a must. High school education or GED required.

  • REHABILITATION TECHNICIANS
    This position assists adolescent individuals with daily living educational activities as well as provide monitoring. A high school diploma or GED and six months in a human service field are required.

    KIRKSVILLE
  • REHABILITATION TECHNICIANS
    We have positions available for RT's in our Adolescent and Adult Programs in Kirksville. These positions consist of assisting individuals with daily living, educational activities and client monitoring. Part-time shifts are available for days, evenings, weekends and overnights. A high school diploma or GED is required.

  • TOBACCO CESSATION SPECIALIST
    Position facilitates tobacco cessation clinics in conjunction with businesses/employers. Ability to market services and collaborate with other professionals is crucial. Applicants should possess strong communication skills, experience in public speaking, ability to travel regularly, and to work a flexible schedule. Prefer applicants with a Bachelors Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology or a closely related field, and one year of professional experience. Equivalent experience will also be considered.

  • ASSOCIATE COUNSELOR OR THERAPIST
    A current position exists in our adolescent program for a Therapist or Associate Counselor. Duties include individual, family, and group therapy, intake assessments, and treatment planning. We prefer individuals who are Certified Substance Abuse Counselors. Candidates also required to have a Bachelor’s Degree and three years experience, or a Master’s Degree and two years experience. Associate Counselor requirements: High School Diploma.

  • REHABILITATION TECHNICIANS
    We have a position available for an overnight part- time RT in our Adolescent Program in Kirksville. This position consists of assisting individuals with daily living, educational activities as well as provides monitoring. A high school diploma or GED and six months in a human service field are required.

  • COOK/HOUSEKEEPER
    A full-time position is available in our dietary department. This person will also perform duties in the housekeeping department. The split is 3/4 dietary and 1/4 housekeeping. Experience in meal preparation is preferred. Weekend hours will apply. High School Diploma or GED is required.

  • LEAD RT
    We have a position available for a "lead" RT in our Adolescent Program. This position consists of assisting individuals with daily living, educational activities as well as provides monitoring. A high school diploma or GED and six months in a human service field are required.

  • CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
    Responsible for clinical oversight and management of residential and outpatient treatment for adolescent substance treatment program. Duties include providing supervision of Associate Counselors and Therapists, participating in treatment planning, and coordinating program activities in our Adolescent Program. Qualified applicants will posses ability to work with adolescents on a group and individual basis. Ability to supervise and support staff in varied roles within the program. Supervisory experience preferred. A minimum of CSAC II or licensure is required.

    Our Licensed or Certified Counselor provides skilled counseling services to patients in behavioral health to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.   • PROGRAM PREVENTION ADMINISTRATOR
    This position will provide general program, budget oversight and supervision to the several prevention programs. Candidate must have grant writing experience and knowledge of development and submission of work plans. Position requires advanced leadership skills, the ability to hire, train and supervise a wide variety of employees. A Masters degree in a related field or a Bachelor’s degree with one (1) year of professional experience in social service work is required. Experience and Education Qualifications: Must be a Certified Prevention Specialist and a minimum of 40 hours of the required Prevention Specialist training; AND Obtain the Certified Prevention Specialist Designation within two (2) years of contract if not already credentialed; AND Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, psychology, community development, public administration or closely related field; OR Graduate from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, counseling, public health, education, or closely related field, who has at least two (2) years professional experience in a social service agency.

    We currently have a full-time Prevention Specialist position in our San Antonio, TX office. To be considered, one must possess a Bachelor's Degree in education, social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, public health, or closely related field. The Prevention Specialist provides training and technical assistance to community teams/coalitions where prevention of alcohol, tobacco and other drug abuse is included in the mission.   • LEAD CSW
    We have an opening for a Lead CSW to be located in St. Joseph, Missouri. The incumbent of this position is responsible for providing community-based services for individuals with mental illness and/or substance abuse problems. Participates in clinical staffing and treatment team meetings assisting CSW Supervisor in providing feedback and direction to the treatment team. Assists in screening/assessment coordination and completes all correspondence and request of information in a thorough and timely manner. This person represents the agency in community based programs as well as developing ongoing community referral base for client advocacy. Assumes CSW Supervisory role in CSW Supervisor’s absence. Assist in the interviewing, hiring, training of new community support staff. Assist management team on ensuring all DMH/CARF and Agency regulations are being adhered to. Requirements of the position: Thorough knowledge of case management and rehabilitation methods, principles and techniques as they relate to mental health and/or substance abuse treatment services. A person with a Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, psychology, or closely related field and at least one (1) year of full time equivalent experience in providing community support services; OR a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, counseling, psychology, or closely related field and at least two (2) years of full time equivalent experience in providing community support services; AND Demonstrated competencies in the areas of supervision and substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation by virtue of experience and/or training. Prior supervisory experience preferred.

    ST. LOUIS (ADOLESCENT)

    Positions are available in our Adult Program in St. Louis. These positions assist individuals with daily living educational activities as well as provide monitoring. A high school diploma or GED is required and experience in a human service field is preferred.

  • DIRECTOR OF CLINICAL DEVELOPMENT
    Director of Clinical Development to assist in the oversight of three sites in the St. Louis Area providing supervision and training to a large number of clinical staff. Other responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Department of Mental Health and Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitative Facilities Standards, curricula development, marketing and public relations, utilization review and quality assurance. The person will be practiced in time management, have excellent organizational skills, and demonstrate historical success in curricula development, training manuals, etc… Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Social Work is required.

  • RESIDENTIAL COORDINATOR
    This position is responsible for the day to day oversight of Residential Technicians in a residential, substance abuse treatment program. Responsible for scheduling, supervision, and facilitating groups. Flexible hours are available. Experience working in a residential program is preferred. Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience is preferred.

    This position assist adult individuals with daily living educational activities as well as provide monitoring. A high school diploma or GED and six months in a human service field are required.

    A full-time Registered Nurse is needed to provide medication consultation and management for our CPRC and adult detox programs.
